Russell Bedford announces new members in Tbilisi, Georgia

Global accounting network Russell Bedford has confirmed the further expansion of its network with new merger, GEword and AG International Consulting, joining in Tbilisi, Georgia.

GEword, founded in 2010, focuses mainly on tax and consulting work for international companies and domestic enterprises.

AG International, founded in 2007, operates mostly in the NGO sector, providing audit, internal control, expenditure reviews and consulting services to agencies such as the UNDP and UNICEF.

The firms, which are in the process of merging, are located in the centre of the Georgian capital, Tbilisi. The combined practice will operate under the GEword name and will have a total of 32 personnel.

Kakha Khmelidze, managing partner of GEword, commented: “The on-going merger of our two firms, combined with joining the international Russell Bedford network, demonstrates the strong ambition of this new union.”
