It's not enough just to be part of a global network

September 2017

Today brought together managing partners of Russell Bedford Italian member firms from Milan and Rome to our hosts in Bologna.

All three firms got to know one another, providing an opportunity to present their similarities as well as demonstrate their unique specialisms, highlighting objectives and goals under the Russell Bedford brand.

The clear message was that of a shared common vision, with shared professional and human values. It was also important to accept that investing time into membership of a global network, accepting that there may be no immediate guarantees of success, will inevitably lead to results.

Being part of the same network, per se, is not enough. Each firm will have its own background and history, yet with the ambition to work more closely together; which needs attention, flexibility and an element of compromise.

Within an international network, firms must get to know each other better, interact more, and have a willingness to make things happen.

Today succeeded in showcasing and achieving all three of these criteria; a hugely positive and enjoyable meeting.
