Stephen Hamlet

As Chief Executive, Stephen assumes responsibility for developing Russell Bedford on a global scale, including maximising membership benefits, focusing on strengthening the network, at the same time as maintaining its high reputation of quality.

Stephen provides strategic direction to the International Board, applying leadership and communicating with various cultures, engaging with existing member firms across several countries. In facilitating cross-border cooperation, as well as ensuring Russell Bedford continues to expand by acquiring additional quality firms throughout the world, Stephen assists the network in increasing commerce for members and their clients.

Kempton Bedell-Harper

Kempton is a marketing specialist with more than 30 years’ experience in the development and management of professional services organisations. He was responsible for business development and corporate communications in a global multi-discipline management and engineering consulting group before joining Russell Bedford International in 2000 as Marketing Director.

Having successfully developed and implemented the network’s branding and growth strategy, he has been instrumental in the transformation of Russell Bedford into a top-20 global player. Now, as Network Development Director, his focus is on further international network expansion and on events management.

Kempton is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He has an MA in Marketing, a Diploma in Marketing and a Diploma of the Communications Advertising and Marketing (CAM) Education Foundation.

Susan Barron

As Russell Bedford's marketing and communications manager, Susan is responsible for supporting members around the world so that they can achieve optimum results from their membership of this global network. As the network continues to expand its global presence at lightning speed, it is Susan's responsibility to ensure that members understand the marketing opportunities available to them and their responsibilities when using our branding by providing brand support and guidance network-wide. In support of our membership development activity and member retention, Susan manages all online marketing activity from web management to social media and PR. 

Susan ensures that members are receiving the value they expect when attending our conferences. She supports the planning and execution of multiple international conferences and events throughout the year, ensuring that our members' conference experience is positive, seamless and efficient from registration through to conference close.

Clara Sanchez

Clara graduated with a degree in Business and Marketing from CEU San Pablo University in Madrid, Spain. She has almost two years of marketing experience in areas such as market research, brand management, public relations and business development working for a number of international companies.

As Russell Bedford's most recent recruit, Clara has already proven her enthusiasm for marketing the network through supporting the implementation of Russell Bedford's new branding and the rollout of the new website. Passionate about developing her career in international business, Clara will support the marketing team in improving the network's online presence and communicating with members and in particular, our Spanish speaking members.

Vanessa Clark

Vanessa is an administrative assistant for Russell Bedford. She is responsible for dealing with invoicing and managing the Audit Quality Control programme.

A long-standing employee of Russell Bedford, Vanessa is a familiar and respected member of the team who enjoys interacting with members and being connected to the wider world through the Russell Bedford network.

Outside of work, family life with two daughters keeps her very busy. 

Jim Sylph

Jim graduated as a Chartered Accountant in the north of England before moving to Canada in the late 1970’s. He is a qualified Corporate Director, based in Toronto, Canada. Jim was a partner in Moores Rowland, Canada and then Ernst & Young. 

In October 1999, Jim joined the International Federation of Accountants where he managed the operations of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) and International Ethics Standards Board (IESBA) for 15 years. He has served as a member of the IFRS Advisory Council and Chairman of the International Oversight Council of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Jim became the RBI Audit Quality Consultant in July 2014. In this part-time role he designs and manages the annual AQ programme, selects and trains inspectors and reports to the RBI Board and the Forum of Firms on the overall audit quality of the RBI members. He is currently the Chair of the Canadian Auditing and Accountability Foundation. CAAF is dedicated to advancing public sector performance audit, oversight, and accountability in Canada and abroad. He is also a consultant providing advice on audit reporting implementation to IAASB.

Belén Aimi

Belén has a masters degree in economics and graduated with a degree in marketing from UCA, Buenos Aires. She has experience working in B2B business development, project management and creating marketing plans in various industries. She has successfully launched products to market creating brand, marketing and communication strategies.

At Russell Bedford, Belén is responsible for coordinating the marketing activities of the LATAM region, searching for synergies and new opportunities, while providing marketing and brand development support.

Nazanin Azardeh

Nazanin joined Russell Bedford as an intern in late October 2020.

She is currently in her final year of an International Commerce Master, with a focus on North America, in the Université Paris-Est Créteil Val de Marne (UPEC) of France.

She enjoys performing market research, market analysis, network development tasks, data analysis and other marketing tasks.

Nazanin’s objective is to develop her skills and talents in marketing and R&D in a well known international company, which brings her invaluable experience and grants her the opportunity to tailor her professional knowledge, while assisting Russell Bedford’s international network’s team.

Adeline Impano

Adeline joined Russell Bedford as a research intern in October 2020.

She is currently in her final year of her Master’s studies in International Commerce, with a focus on globalization and international trade at Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC).

Adeline's responsibilities at Russell Bedford include analysis of the global market and researching potential new firms to join the network, which supports the development of the network.

Adeline's goal is to develop her knowledge in market research and analysis, and other activities related to marketing.

Celma Laidouni

Celma joined Russell Bedford as a research intern in October 2020. She graduated from the University Paris 12 with a Master’s degree of International Trade and Globalisation.   

Celma's responsibilities include researching opportunities that support the growth of the Russell Bedford network, which involves analysis of the global market in the accounting industry and intensive research to find the best firms.

Celma's goal is to continue the development of her knowledge especially in analysis, business administration, and marketing. Thanks to her strong experience of working in international companies, she wants to make use of and develop her current set of skills. She is committed to enriching her working knowledge while supporting the development of Russell Bedford's global network. 

Lisa Palmerini

Lisa joined Russell Bedford as a research intern in January 2021.

She is currently in her first year of a Master's degree in International Management at IAE Saint Etienne in France. 

Her first internship in marketing, Lisa is eager begin to improving her skills and knowledge in this field. She is committed to supporting the greater objectives of the network, while gaining invaluable practical experience from working in an international business environment.
