Supporting the flood relief efforts in Brazil

Since May 2024, heavy rains have devastated the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, displacing over half a million people from their homes.

In response to this disaster, Russell Bedford International, in solidarity with our offices in Brazil, is donating to local charities working on the ground through this year's Russell Bedford Cares programme.

Russell Bedford Brazil has nine locations across the country, with over 300 employees, and serving more than 700 clients across the private and public sector. Unfortunately, the headquarters in Porto Alegre was seriously affected by the floods and many of our colleagues have lost their homes.

Bruno Celidonio, International Manager at Russell Bedford Brazil said “it is devastating to witness the widespread impact of the floods. We hope our teams and everyone in the affected areas are able to stay safe. We deeply appreciate the support from our international Russell Bedford network.”

Beyond our financial contribution, Russell Bedford International extends our heartfelt gratitude to all those on the ground – from the rescue workers distributing essential aid, to the Brazilian athletes who have given up their dreams of competing in the Olympics to assist in the relief efforts.
