Auditing sustainability reports: ISSA 5000

This session will focus on auditing sustainability reports, emphasising the International Standard on Sustainability Assurance ISSA 5000.

We will explore how ISSA 5000 provides a structured approach to ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and credibility of sustainability disclosures. Key principles such as materiality, completeness, and neutrality in assurance engagements will also be discussed.

Additionally, this session will delve into the challenges of aligning audit processes with diverse sustainability reporting standards and the value auditing brings to enhancing transparency and stakeholder confidence.
