Winning another award!

I was always very cynical about awards… until I won one; for “Personality of the Year” (no less), in 2019.
That was in the same year as Russell Bedford International won “Best Network”; eliminating all cause for concern and obliterating any need for cynicism or indeed scepticism.
However, three years had passed and, right before my doubts could fully resurface, last night our caring, inspirational, people-centric network won “Wellbeing Initiative of the Year” for our (clearly) award-winning work in this space; putting health and wellbeing at the forefront of activity.
Hence, belief system restored!
Extremely grateful to be recognised for this, extremely excited at what we have achieved and extremely proud of our network.
The pandemic made us acknowledge our vulnerability, allowed us to openly address our psychological challenges and helped us reflect on our priorities in life. I am therefore delighted that what we did, particularly with our dear friend Michael Quigley at Kataholos, provided a ‘little something’, encouraging our people to take time out for themselves and to ensure they prioritised their mental health as much as their physical health. #resilience #positivity #wellbeing
And… We were also a finalist for the prestigious International Accounting Forum's “Network of the Year” award (… so maybe we just have to live with having had the ‘second best’ year of all accounting networks. I think that’s ok!)
