Major non-profit wins for Russell Bedford member firm Tait Weller
September 2016
Russell Bedford member firm Tait Weller, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has announced a series of major wins in the non-profit sector in recent months, having been appointed auditors to three major international humanitarian aid organisations - Intermed International, the International Network for Aid Relief and Assistance (INARA), and ALIMA.
Intermed International assists underdeveloped countries in developing their health delivery systems, as well providing medical support and rehabilitation services for refugees; INARA supports children affected by illness or injury as a result of conflict or war; and ALIMA brings together aid projects, medical organisations and global research institutions in delivering medical care to people in need.
Founded in 1921, Tait Weller has since grown to become a full-service accounting firm (comprising five partners and more than 50 personnel) specialising in financial services and the NGO sector.
Harry B. DeVerter, managing partner of Tait Weller, commented: "The current humanitarian crises throughout the Middle East are just one example of the unprecedented pressure that international aid organisations are under currently. We are delighted to be able to support three of the United States' foremost organisations in the invaluable work that they do."
