Philadelphia CPA firm Tait Weller joins Russell Bedford International

Global professional services group Russell Bedford International has announced the addition of another member firm to its growing North American network, with Tait, Weller & Baker LLP (Tait Weller) Certified Public Accountants joining as the Philadelphia member firm.

This latest expansion comes less than three months after the addition of Kaiser, Scherer & Schlegel PLLC, in McLean, Virginia.

Tait Weller was founded in Philadelphia in 1921. Today, with five partners, two tax directors and more than 50 personnel in total, it is the region's leading full-service accounting firm specialising in financial services organisations and non-profits.

Tait Weller provides audit and assurance, accounting, tax and consulting services to registered investment companies in the heavily regulated funds industry. Its expertise extends to limited partnerships, underwriters, investment advisory firms, transfer agents and other financial institutions for which the firm serves as independent auditor. It is the fifth largest auditor of mutual funds in the United States outside of the Big Four.

In addition to its financial services sector activities, Tait Weller has also built a significant practice as auditors and consultants to educational, international relief and development, cultural, and religious non-profit organisations, throughout the US and worldwide.

The firm is registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) and also has offices in New York, NY and Iselin, NJ.
