Young people are the future
September 2017
As I travel the world, one recurring theme has been the challenge of finding good talent and, once found, retaining that talent.
AI and automated processes may be hot topics, creating an impression that scarcity of human resource becomes less of an issue, but I continue to promote the greatness of 'people' and ensuring your practices and companies have the right people to support you and potentially succeed you. The 'younger generation' does not fear these technological advancements; they embrace them and use them to their advantage.
I am therefore delighted that Russell Bedford International holds an event for younger members, being our annual Young partners and managers meeting, held in Budapest this December.
Delegates will learn about the roles and responsibilities of being a leader in their practices, developing their relationship-building skills, and gaining insights into business characteristics and cultures in different parts of the world; moulding a career path for their future (and indeed protecting ours!)
