Benny Herman Joins Williams Benator & Libby, LLP as Assurance Senior Manager

The partners of Williams Benator & Libby, LLP (WBL) are pleased to announce that Leroy “Benny” Herman, Jr. has joined the firm’s Assurance Services department as a senior manager. Benny has more than 17 years of public accounting experience handling complex accounting issues such as accounting for business combinations, equity and debt transactions, revenue recognition, impairment and fair value, as well as managing large assurance projects for domestic and international clients in the manufacturing, distribution and financial technology (fintech) industries. He also has extensive expertise in internal control systems design and testing and financial reporting.
As a senior manager, Benny will play a significant role in building WBL’s Assurance Services practice. He will focus on developing and deepening relationships with the firm’s clients and will manage audit, transaction advisory and other assurance engagement teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality service.

Benator. “He is already demonstrating his mastery of the audit process as well as team-building and business development skills. Benny serves on the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Fintech Steering Committee and the Atlanta Fintech Taskforce. Prior to joining WBL, Benny was a senior manager with a national accounting and advisory firm, first in Baltimore, Maryland, and then in Atlanta. Benny also served as an accountant and financial analyst in the chemical, energy and legal industries. Benny is a graduate of Towson University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.
