Russell Bedford's Stuttgart / Freiburg member merges
January 2019
Russell Bedford's Stuttgart / Freiburg member, LFK Limberger Fuchs Koch & Partner, has announced the expansion of the firm as a result of its merger with Leisle GmbH, a Tuttlingen based tax consultancy and auditing company.
Founded by Pamela Leisle, tax consultant, auditor and expert consultant for international tax law, Leisle GmbH has been very successfully advising predominantly medium-sized companies in Tuttlingen and the surrounding region for many years.
Speaking about the announcement, Pamela Leisle said: “My greatest aspiration in my work as a tax consultant and auditor is to always provide my clients with the best possible advice. Joining forces with a larger, medium-sized and regionally oriented firm like LFK Limberger Fuchs Koch & Partner will allow us to complement our expertise and know-how and expand our range of services. LFK has provided me with the opportunity to integrate my company into LFK, to continue attending to my clients, who are naturally close to my heart, and to help shape the future as a partner and managing director. The alliance with a larger company gives me the opportunity to assist my clients with even more specialist knowledge and resources. I will continue to be available to them as a trusted contact person, but I can now draw on the specialists and resources of LFK if required. The office's location in Tuttlingen will be maintained and expanded in the coming years. I strongly believe that I have found a future-oriented and benefit-enhancing solution for my clients with this alliance."
For Thomas Busshardt, managing partner at LFK, the merger is a logical evolution of LFK Limberger Fuchs Koch & Partner, he commented: "Successful consulting increasingly requires interdisciplinary competence from a single source. The demands of clients on their consultants are increasing, in particular when it comes to medium-sized companies. Nowadays, companies need consultancy firms that have a strong network which should also have an international scope. More and more specialist knowledge and corresponding experience is required in numerous areas. Some examples I would like to mention are corporate succession, the acquisition or sale of companies and consultancy services related to sales tax/VAT. We have already worked with Ms. Leisle on various occasions and have come to appreciate her as a person and her commitment to quality."
LFK Limberger Fuchs Koch & Partner now has seven partners and mainly advises medium-sized companies. In the future, LFK will employ around 75 staff at four locations, including eight auditors, 15 tax consultants and eight lawyers. The range of services comprises all aspects of auditing and tax consulting including bookkeeping and payroll accounting. LFK can draw on numerous specialists from different areas, for example, corporate and wealth succession, business transactions, sales tax/VAT, international tax law, financing and business planning, and digitization of bookkeeping.
