This meeting focuses on promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within organisations. Key points include the importance of DEI for innovation, talent attraction, and employee engagement. The session emphasises the need for visible leadership, inclusive hiring, ongoing training, and data-driven strategies. Challenges such as leadership engagement, resource limitations, and cultural differences are also discussed. Participants share their experiences, including efforts to hire diverse talent and address unfair treatment. Future plans include team-building activities and workshops to enhance DEI practices, ensuring that all employees regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation or background are welcomed, treated fairly and empowered to contribute fully.
